The following document is now available to download from the secure area of SQA's website:
> Exemplification of standards Higher Technological Studies
The exemplification consists of candidate responses to 'explain' type questions from the 2006 Higher Technological Studies examination with commentaries compiled by the Principle Assessor to exemplify good practice.
As the file size is over 16MB, the document has been split into two parts to allow for an easier download.

The following NQ Graphic Communication documents have recently been updated and are now available to download from SQA's website:

These documents are only valid for session 2006/2007.
Please note that these documents will no longer be posted to centres and can only be downloaded from our website.

Each candidate undertaking an NQ Graphic Communication Course must complete a Student Record as part of their Coursework. Additionally, it is strongly recommended that centres read the Guidance Documents thoroughly before commencing with any Coursework.

Dear Colleagues,
National Qualifications Database - by school subject and level
As you will recall we developed a database which carried all relevant information about the range of subjects and levels presented in our schools.
The database allows you to search for schools teaching subjects at levels you may want to collaborate with for example.
The database has now been amended with your help and it will be mostly correct. (Some schools did not make a return and we used information provided by the Business Manager which may not be accurate in every case).
The database is not locked consequently you may alter your own school data and if everyone does this it will remain contemporary.
The database file is stored in RESOURCES > QUALITY IMPROVEMENT.
